Product Description
Thyme honey belongs to the flower honeys and has strong aromatic and taste characteristics. It has a light amber color and crystallizes over a period of 6-18 months. Its beneficial properties come from the thyme plant, which has a strong antiseptic effect thanks to thymol, which in the past had a use similar to that of modern antibiotics.
Over time, thyme honey has been associated with the following beneficial properties for human health:
- It has an antioxidant effect thanks to its content of minerals, polyphenols and phenolic acids
