At The Olivest, we had the pleasure of tasting Poteus Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2024/25 harvest and are excited to share its remarkable organoleptic profile.

So, Poteus Limited extra virgin olive oil is full of life and character! The moment you bring it close, you get hit with fresh green almond, artichoke, wild herbs, and even a hint of banana peel—a truly rich and inviting aroma.

In the mouth, it starts off smooth and sweet, with a low gentle bitterness that follows, and then, just when you think it’s done, a subtle, warm spiciness kicks in, rounding out the experience beautifully.

It’s an aromatic, green, and well-balanced olive oil making it perfect for daily dishes—drizzle it over hot spaghetti, creamy risottos, roast chicken, or even desserts like ice cream! And of course, the best way to enjoy it? Raw, on a slice of warm bread. Pure bliss!
