Description

Discover PAMAKO Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a premium Greek olive oil renowned for its exceptional phenolic content, distinctive flavour and award-winning quality. Produced in Crete, Greece, from the ancient Tsounati olive variety, PAMAKO combines centuries-old olive-growing traditions with modern extraction technology to create an outstanding high-phenolic extra virgin olive oil.

Exceptional Phenolic Content and Antioxidant Compounds

PAMAKO is distinguished by its high concentration of natural olive oil phenols, including hydroxytyrosol, tyrosol and their derivatives. Its phenolic profile has earned it recognition among high-phenolic olive oils, making it a distinctive choice for consumers seeking premium extra virgin olive oil with a scientifically recognised nutritional profile.

The EU-authorised health claim under Regulation (EU) No 432/2012 applies to olive oil containing at least 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives per 20 g of olive oil.

Ancient Tsounati Olives, Authentic Cretan Heritage

Made from the Tsounati olive variety, one of Greece's historic olive cultivars, PAMAKO celebrates the rich olive-growing heritage of Crete. Its cultivation traditions are associated with the island's ancient agricultural history, while sustainable organic farming practices help preserve the natural character of the olives.

By integrating traditional cultivation methods with modern processing technology, PAMAKO aims to preserve the olives' valuable compounds, fresh aromas and distinctive taste.

A Distinctive Taste and Aroma

PAMAKO offers a medium-to-intense fruity profile with an expressive bouquet of fresh green grass, artichoke, tomato, rosemary, wildflowers and nuts. On the palate, its balanced bitterness develops into a more pronounced peppery, spicy finish — characteristic of olive oils rich in natural phenolic compounds.

Enjoy it drizzled over fresh salads, grilled vegetables, legumes, fish and Mediterranean dishes, or savour it raw to appreciate its complex aromas and flavour.
