Thank you for visiting and shopping at www.theolivest.com. Below are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
1. Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within two business days (48 hours), regardless of whether the shipping service is EXPRESS or ECONOMY. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.
If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
2. Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Confirmation email once we receive your order. Then a Shipment Confirmation email will be sent to you once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s).
3. Damages
OliveOilOrigins is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
4. Duties, Import Fees, Taxes & Restrictions
Shipment to P.O. boxes
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
4.1 International Shipping
At this time we ship to EU, the US and to the rest of the world with the collaboration of DHL EXPRESS (3-6 business days) and FedEX International Economy (4-10 business days), from the time shipping company pick up the package.
All prices on our site are in EUR. Your credit card company will bill you with your local currency at the current exchange rate.Free shipping for orders in Europe more than €189 EUR (vat included) delivered via DHL Economy shipping method.
*Countries which are excluded from free shipping are those that DHL Economy Road Transport is not supported i.e Malta, Cyprus, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Russia, Serbia, Montenegro.
**For Finland, the Free Shipping is offered for orders that exceed 400 EUR (vat included) and is again delivered by DHL Economy shipping method
4.3 Customs Clearance (Outside European Union)
When ordering outside EU, the importer (You) is responsible for assuring the product can be legally imported to the destination country.
Pricing does not include customs duties or associated fees, taxes which are determined by your country's customs policies.
Each country has its own customs policy, so you should first contact your local customs office for further information.
We are responsible for providing accurate customs documentation, which includes item details, importer personal details like NameSurname , address etc customs codes, and the total order value (goods and shipping costs). This documentation will be accompanied by your payment confirmation to Customs or other regulatory authorities.
Your customs office may verify the charge on your payment card, so all information must be correct and consistent. We do not declare items as 'gifts' or 'samples' on customs forms as it violates customs regulations. Please note that customs duties in each country are based on the total value of the ordered products, including delivery costs. We ship worldwide (except to Russia, Belarus and a few more countries in Asia) .
Duties and taxes are non-refundable: so a shipment that is refused because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the original shipping and any return shipping charges will not be refunded. Customs policies vary widely from country to country.
We do not refund original shipping charges for goods that are refused for delivery at customs.
All non-EU orders are handled by DHL or FedEX and go through GR Customs clearance before leaving Greece.
The recipient of an international shipment (outside EU) may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are imposed once a shipment reaches the recipient's country.
Duties and taxes are non-refundable: so a shipment that is refused because of unexpected import fees or other issues, the cost of the original shipping and any return shipping charges will not be refunded. Customs policies vary widely from country to country.

Changes to U.S. Import Regulations Effective August 29
Starting August 29, 2025 the United States is abolishing the duty-free (de minimis) exemption for all imported products, regardless of their country of origin. This means that every shipment with a value of up to USD 800 will now be subject to applicable duties, taxes, and fees, which may affect the customs clearance process and result in additional charges from U.S. Customs. 4.5 Shipping Cost
- Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
- Indicative breakdown of the Economy road shipping cost for orders in EU
- Prices are indicative and are always being confirmed on checkout.
- Prices do not include any Emergency Fees or extra shipping costs.
- Charges may change without prior notice based on changes applied by DHL.
- The final weight is calculated by the shipping company and includes both product and package weight.
- The transport cost is calculated according to the highest of the actual or volumetric weight.
- The calculation type is L x W x H / 5000 (air transport)
- DHL Economy Road Transport is not supported for Malta, Cyprus, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
