At The Olivest, we had the pleasure of tasting Skoutari Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2024/25 harvest and are excited to share its remarkable organoleptic profile.

Made from the finest Koroneiki olives of Crete, this "Skoutari" has an intense fruity aroma with a rich complexity. You'll first notice green almond, pepper, fresh-cut grass, artichoke, and green leaves, while hints of olive leaves, unripe banana, and green apple add extra depth.

The flavor profile is characterized by a medium to intense bitterness and pungency, creating a beautifully balanced taste with lasting persistence. It's a perfect match for bold, warm dishes like grilled meats, roasted vegetables, risotto, spaghetti, hearty stews.
